Mutter Wittig - Bochum

We initially went to see the beautiful windows and for the history of the building but then we noticed the locals were eating lunch so we joined in. Their servings are large. The Lachs and Spargel was wonderful! Glad we stopped for lunch!!

Lovely typical German restaurant with perfectly good service and excellent food. Pleasant atmosphere and a good place for a business lunch. The schnitzel was great.

I've been to Mutter Wittig many times, and the food is always excellent. I recommend getting whatever is seasonal, but you really can't go wrong here!

Little bit old-fashioned, but pleasant atmosphere. Waiters looked extremely bored during the whole evening. In their eyes the look of still not time to go home ? Starter and main plate were regarding taste ok, presentation was screaming for more attention. When we wanted to order a desert at 21.45 hr !!! we got the answer sorry but our chef is already home and the kitchen is closed .... . Who neglected his duties here? The chef? The waiter? Or management?

Delicious food but the server kind of threw it out. No complaints on food we ate. It would have been 5 but the attitude of the server got 1 point less...
