Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Bolingbrook

I personally love their spinach dip! I got it every night I was here visiting for work. Wish they had more Chicago beer on tap, such as Goose Island or something similar. The bartenders were amazing. Very friendly waiting staff! Highly recommend! Yes, my food was half eaten when I remembered to grab a picture.

My server Migle was great, very welcoming fast. I didn't have to ask for anything she saw what we needed beforehand. The food was so good as expected. A great place to be for this Mother's Day.

Every Waffle House I 've ever been to has been cleaner and more welcoming than this establishment. I was recently at one of these restaurants in Missouri and loved it. So I figured to take my daughter to this one for dinner. We were told there was a 20 minute wait, no problem. The hostess asked for my name and said they would call me when a take was ready. Great! Then it started getting pretty busy, and I began noticing folks being seated that arrived much later than we did. Then I noticed they were asking for phone numbers and telling people they would receive a text when the tables were ready. Oh boy. So I went and let the hostess know that the girl before them only asked for a name and not a number and she asked my name and then replied oh, your table has been ready for a while, we just didn 't have a number hmm ok. Slight misunderstanding l suppose. She gets us to our table, there 's a glass of water on the table, several dirty napkins and old sticky menus. She says to the waitress standing by if that was theirs and the waitress says yes, I left it there Then the hostess proceeds to take the DIRTY napkin and wipe old food off the table amd says Here you go didn 't even make an attempt to have someone come clean the table, or let us know she would. We sat down, and waited a moment. The waitress was assisting another table at the moment, but when she was done she passed us right by. Not any type of acknowledgement. Not a hello not a Welcome not even a Let me get someone to get that table cleaned for you nothing. After 10 minutes with not even a look and putting my arm against the dirty, sticky menu we had to get up to leave. Hard to believe our table Had been ready for a while The floors and walk ways are covered in food and garbage. Just completely disgusting.

I use to live in Bolingbrook and Cheddar’s was our go to restaurant. We moved and I remember they shut down for a while to remodel. So I am basing my experience now verse last time. I got the chicken dijion with mushrooms. Red beans and rice with coleslaw. I also go carrot cake and croissant. Chicken was okay. I remember it tasting better. Maybe a different recipe. The red beans and rice did not taste how I remember. Maybe using a different type of rice. I remember it use to be spicy. Not much flavor now. Coleslaw okay. Not much flavor. Same for carrot cake and croissant. I would say maybe Covid had me lose my taste buds, but my other views says the words flavorful. I ordered on app and food was ready faster than I expected. FYI my mom order loaded potato but it was plain. Realized later the toppings was with my dessert. It should of been on it not on the side.

Drew the bartender is amazing! Attentive. Busy. Makes great drinks and serves it with a smile. Food is yummy too. The croissants and chicken tenders We are visiting from MN and 2nd time here over the weekend.
