We only had our daughter baptism there and couldn't be happier with everything. the personal was absolutely such a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. the food and the service was wonderful and they went beyond and beyond us. we really enjoyed it. our overall experience and will definitely go back. if they really want delicious home cooked Italian cuisine, amazing service and beautiful view, this is the place for them.
Bad customer service ever. that is definitiw not a fine din. bad customer service. do not waste their time and money on this place.
We received a gift voucher for christmas at $100. before we went to the restaurant, we checked their website to see menu points and prices, to our amazement when the bill arrived, the actual prices for menu points was drastically inflated, and the restaurant fee extra for the veg that accompanies the main courses. first and last time for allegro in bolton for me.
Had the pleasure of returning to this amazing restaurant after a 20 year absence....I moved out of the area. My favourite memory of Allegro was the light and fluffy Gnocchi! When I entered the restaurant,I asked Chef Tony if he was still making them, and to...my delight he answered in the affirmative! My night was made! Delicious light and airy pillows of softness in a creamy rosé sauce! My daughter and her friend enjoyed custom made pasta dishes made from the freshest ingredients which weren’t on the menu....Chef Tony aims to please. We started with a delicious spring green salad topped with strawberries and walnuts in a rich olive oil and balsamic dressing.....nothing like the Balsamic I use! He also made us a caprese salad with oozy buffalo Mozzarella. We finished with a creamy Tiramisu, and flaming Sambuca . If only it weren’t so far from downtown Toronto,we’d be there every week!
