La Cucina - Bon Air

The food here is amazing! It exceeded our expectations, genuinely. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and it was cooked excellently. Not chewy at all, and the sauce was delicious. I could’ve drank it. I got the scallops fra diavolo, and it was so so good. Neither me nor my boyfriend have ever had better cooked scallops- it was like biting into butter. The sauce was fantastic too. My boyfriend order the manicotti. The cheese really stood out to him as quality. Even the bread was delicious. The only disappointment was not having room for dessert.

Highlights were the soup and brushetta. Low points were slow service and annoyed hostess upon first arriving. Entrees of pizza and salmon fra diavolo were average. Overall, it's just OK.
