Unlike the hard version I once received from a food truck, this piadina was firm and held all the ingredients well. Although it was a bit pricey (compared to a similar manoosh that might be half the price), the portion size was generous and I wish I had shared it with someone. The coffee was also excellent, rich, rough, and creamy, reminding me of Rome.
The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic and consistently good, showing that the owners truly care. One suggestion would be to ensure the crostata is fully cooked, as the dough was a bit raw. Thank you and keep up the excellent work!
Piadina is one of my favourite dishes, it’s something simple but it’s hard to find a place in Sydney who makes them; so I was really happy to go there. My piadina was not the best I’ve ever eaten in my life, but it was ok.I think I had too much expectation and the location was not the top as well. The good thing is that they also sell few Italian products.
The food at this restaurant is always delicious, but the standout is their coffee, which is our favorite in Bondi. The baristas consistently make top-notch coffee and are extremely efficient. While the food can be on the pricier side, it is definitely worth it. They have recently expanded, so there is now plenty of seating available.
It was 3:30 in the afternoon and pouring rain outside, in need of a coffee fix somewhere to hide from the rain. It took me a while to find a place still open serving coffee, which is La Piadina. Had no idea what piadina was before this visit, the menu sounded interesting, as well as funky decor. But I was too full from lunch still just needed a warm drink, so just got the coffee. It was good, smooth not too bitter, just what I needed. Will be back to try the piadina next time.
