Bella's Italian Of Boone

This place is definitely for senior citizens who haven’t the slightest clue on what real Italian food is. It’s terrible! The inside looks just as bad as the food taste. I knew it wasn’t a real Italian when I noticed they describe Pasta Carbonara as “cream sauce”. Any real Italian knows Carbonara sauce is made with made with eggs, hard cheese, cured pork, and black pepper. NOT CREAM. Both our our dishes were extremely pale and unappetizing in addition to being OVERCOOKED. Our pasta were very soggy and mushy YUCK! The ONLY good thing was the bread. This is definitely not a real Italian restaurant.

Thank you for the improvements! Staff has been marvelous on our visits! So personable! Folks- be sure to check out their lunch specials! The Baked Ziti is amazing! I’ve started asking for the lunch portion at nighttime too b/c the serving size is perfect. Also, they have wine specials sometimes. I’m not sure what day, but generous pour sizes for $4/glass. Oh, and their Ranch dressing is scrumptious! I would order a quart to-go if possible! Definitely a favorite go-to for our Italian hankerings.

It was really warm inside the restaurant when we ate, but the food was great and the service was too. Visiting from New Orleans and I'm pretty picky about my Italian...this was good. Thank you!

We wanted Italian and chose this place and we were not let down. The garlic bread was amazing, we had the calamari appetizer that was good, but the entrees stole the show. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo and the tomato basil bisk and she was in heaven. I had the Italian stallion pizza and it was massive and delicious the portions are gigantic so be prepared for to go boxes. Must eat place in boone nc

We had Bella's for this first time on our last trip to Boone. We first went during lunch and had the lunch lasagna and fettuccine alfredo. We were so impressed that we had to come back for dinner the following week. In addition to lasagna, we had the manicotti, and the white bean/beef/vegetable soup. Everything was so delicious! My only personal disappointment was that I ordered tiramisu to go, but it was a chocolate mousse instead. My husband loved it. We can't wait to visit Boone again and Bella's!
