Afghan Choopan - Bothell

This place is a hidden gem. I tried the renowned Afghan rice and lamb dish, and it was absolutely perfect! While the exterior might not entice you to stop in, once you enter the beautifully maintained garden dining area, you’ll quickly realize the potential for a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and overall, once you're seated, the dining experience truly shines—it's a gem!

I haven't experienced such joy from food in years! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the lentil soup, kofta with naan, and a vegetable combo. Everything is pleasantly spicy and beautifully presented on the plate. I will definitely be back to try more!

What a wonderful discovery! We had the lentil soup and chicken korma, along with naan, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area was fantastic as well!

This was okay for me since it was nearby but something to keep in mind if you're planning around anorder. There was nobody dining inside when I picked up my food (it was 7:30pm on a Wednesday . We got the okra (bamya entreeand the veggie combo with lentils spinach (Daal Sabzi . The veggie combo is the way at to go in my opinion, if you're orderingveg. You get to try a variety and it already comes with naan and rice otherwise for entrees you pay extra for either. Asmentioned, the food was GREAT! I am 100% returning for more :
