I mentioned my mistake to the waitress when she returned, and she kindly switched my dish without any extra charge, reassuring me not to worry. That was such a nice touch—thank you!
We initially tried to visit two other restaurants, but they were closed from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. By chance, we discovered this gem. The lighting and seating were cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was quick, attentive, and friendly, enhancing our experience. The noise level was just right, and the music added to the ambiance. However, the standout features were the impressive quality of the food and drinks. The presentation and taste were so exceptional that I wondered if I had misread the menu prices, as it felt like a much more upscale establishment. We hope this quality stays consistent, and I can't wait to come back again soon!
I stopped by to pick up some pad thai, and while the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, I found it off-putting when they asked me if I wanted to leave a tip on my take-out order. It feels quite greedy to ask for a tip when I'm already spending $40 on noodles and overcooked chicken. Traditionally, tipping is meant for waitstaff who provide service, so requesting an extra payment on top of my order feels inappropriate.

I absolutely love Kim Dee Thai! We probably visit for dinner more than anywhere else. As for parking, the restaurant has reserved spots available, which I've utilized on occasion. However, I've never had trouble finding a spot nearby in the large parking lot of this shopping center, which also has a Safeway.
