We have a table reserved, but the points were not allowed. not sure why, but the restaurant modified it since we brought less adult, but small children and a child. the food was very poor. service was very good. the bark in the sauce was super hard, and the taste was moderate. to get any taste, they had to buy their trio of sauces, which had very little taste in comparison to genuine Mexican foods. the children mac and cheese had very little cheese, but the cost were very high for a small bowl pasta. drinks were in order and they were very accommodating. 4 of the 7 adult not eat much of their meal, it was only not worth the calorie. this could have been a very good place to dinate with our large family group, but eating was so disappointing that we probably don't go back when they don't begin to serve better food. I felt that after almost $500 for 7 adults and 3 little children we had a better experience. taco bell even has much better tasting eating, and that doesn't say much.
First time visiting this establishment. Always wanted to try it and it was a bit disappointing. We likely will not return. Reservations were for lower dining level however we were seated in upper level. It was extremely noisy on that level likely due to a combination of the venue acoustics as well as upper level had large tables with big groups so people were very loud. We like good energy and the bustle and lively conversation that goes with that but this was extremely loud (people were yelling). Many restaurants are loud and don’t seem to bother us like this place did. In addition, there were kids running around between tables and the upper and lower level. This restaurant felt like a rowdy bar which is okay if that’s what you are looking for in a restaurant. Overall dining experience was over 90 minutes. It took a long time for our entree to arrive (45 minutes after ordering). One of our servers was quite delightful and had it not been for her, the rating would have been lower. She did come by to say it was coming out “soon” as she was waving her hands indicating maybe. Food was good but not overly fantastic and compared to their Mexican restaurants in the area we prefer the food at 2 other establishments. Enchiladas Suiza was good but super spicy. We were told they had “a little kick” but I would describe it as a big kick. We like spicy but the burning lasted awhile after the meal. Menu does not indicate a spicy dish. Green sauces at other places have not been this spicy. Having said that, the shredded chicken in the enchilada was super tender and moist. Chips and guac were okay. Guac was bland. Quesadilla was good. Observing the lower level it looked as though the tables were for 2-4 diners. That may have been a better experience than the upper level with large groups. No bathroom tissue in restroom. Lol. Kind of the topper for the night as we chuckled and agreed we won’t be back.
Honestly I expected more from this place, yet the food wasn’t good and service was very bad. Won’t be going there again. Very disappointed
Everything was good...except the food. The chips and dips appetizer was delicious. The quesadilla... not so much. The burrito and street tacos were great; the beans and rice were meh. I am typically forgiving, but this is the second disappointing visit here in a row where the food was not worth the price.
