Rita's Ice Custard Happiness

They're always crazy busy, however they're so quick at getting their ice cream, and water out. The custard is ridiculously good. I'm not a water ice fan, but my family loves it.

Their custards, misto shakes and Italian ice are excellent as is the service as well.

Parrish and Brenda contribute significantly to community organizations. They offer a fantastic variety of flavors that are truly outstanding.

We love love love Rita's!! All the employees at this location are friendly, always smiling, and efficient. The boys love Alex's Lemonade water ice (they think its named after their brother...lol! . I always get a vanilla chocolate swirl custard in a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles. My husband alternates between various flavored water ice and a vanilla custard with Butterfinger pieces mixed in. The one and only flavor water ice we have found we don't like is Birthday Cake. Sounds as weird as it tastes. Seriously. Aside from that oddity, always a winner! So refreshing on a hot humid day. Parking is limited and the intersection is at a curve, sometimes a little difficult getting out, unless you go around the block. They have nice picnic tables with umbrellas and benches around which is nice considering the kids always have drips. We go weekly during the summer and enjoy bringing Grandma and Grandpa when they're in town from VA. Rita's is unique to the Philly/ Jersey area...you can't visit this area without stopping for a water ice!
