It was the similar situation that I tried to compare the almond croissant from this renowned French boutique to the one at the Halmet so drove there to explore this morning.<br/ Although it is Mother’s Day today but it is reasonably busy not so crowd with people.<br/ Ordered the almond croissant with a flat white. It only took five minutes to have both things in hand. I took a seat at the nearby bus stop to consume the brekkie. Honestly, the result is the same, it’s almond croissant is let down by those from the Helmet.<br/ Previous rating: Oct 2018 4/5; Nov 2015 4.5/5<br/
Racecourse Road in Ascot, Brisbane is foodie joy with several restaurants on this strip, there is bound to be something for everybody. It is also the place where I found one of the best patisseries in Brisbane – Le Bon Choix. With seating inside it is the perfect place to have an afternoon coffee and cake.
Great coffee and cakes but can be crowded. Noisy and clattery but the coffee is good and the pastry also good. Air conditioned and comfortable seating.
I love Le Bon Choix! Their cakes are amazing and of course the pastries are great too. Never had something from there that I haven’t like. They are great with sweets but also have amazing savoury food like sandwiches. Sad because my favourite cake got discontinued but still love all the cakes.
We come here for coffee after our large Sashimi lunch. This is my favourite Le Bon Choix outlet in Brisbane. I place my order and we enjoy the cool comfort of this cafe as we wait for our coffee. <br/ <br/ Our large Cappuccino arrives after a short wait. Served hot and strong it is what we need after a fishy lunch. Thank you Le Bon Choix!<br/ <br/ With... Phuong Tran
