Brossa's Cibo-e-vino - Brenham

We visited this local restaurant for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the service was sincere and perfectly attentive. We kicked things off with the wagyu meatballs and crispy potatoes, which were both fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their different pasta dishes, and I particularly loved the wild boar bolognese. They also have an excellent wine selection! We will definitely be coming back soon!

The garlic bread and pasta were excellent and very fresh. There are some unique entree options to choose from. I visited for lunch.

We adore this cozy, family-owned restaurant. However, last night was a bit off. We were seated and our orders were taken quickly, but then our salads took a long time to arrive and we still hadn’t received any wine. My husband had to go look for a server. Eventually, I got my glass of wine along with some apologies. Our entrees were significantly delayed, and during that time, no one checked on us. The chicken parmesan portion was quite small, around 4 ounces. We overheard the staff explaining to other diners that there was a backup in the kitchen. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and not up to their usual standard. I'll give them another chance, hoping this isn’t a sign of a trend.

We had a wonderful dinner! Service was excellent. The only thing, and it's not a complaint, but a suggestion. Our table was very small and in a corner, so movement was limited. Again, not a complaint as this is a very nice place to have a relaxing and delicious meal

The food was great! The Branzino special was fantastic!
