I noticed that the parking lot was full and there were even cars parked along the side of the road, indicating that the food must be excellent. And I was right! Despite the busy lunch hour, I was seated promptly and my drinks and tostadas arrived quickly. The aromas coming from the kitchen were enticing, and I decided to order the Carnitas plate. It arrived sooner than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise as I had already nearly finished the basket of chips. Coming from South Texas, I have high standards for Mexican food, and I must say that the Carnitas were the best I've ever had. The flavors were fantastic, the meat was tender, and the portion size was generous. This restaurant may be hidden in town, but it is a gem! The locals seem to love it too.
The chips are delicious. This restaurant serves authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex, which is great! It reminds me of the true Mexican cuisine I enjoyed growing up. The rice is also very good. The enchiladas are perfect!
Absolutely fantabulous! We have supported the father of a friend who is a local and we have not spoken about it. The Cowboy Enchilada plate Spinach Enchiladas were wonderful. Definitely got good remains because they give a lot for a small price. Well, we're back.
From Pennsylvania, visiting family (the Ogg's) and asked where to go for Mexican. They said hands down Manuel's! They were correct!! I had the Chilli Relleno.... unbelievable! Margaritas delicious!! Price no complaints here! Portions great value. Armondo? Perfect host! You need to go if you haven't already!!
This restaurant was a strong contender for the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. Despite being busy on Father's Day, I patiently waited and it was definitely worth it.
