My favourites are the gambas al ajillo (I’m still trying to convince the chef to allow me to watch him cook them), the octopus is to die for and el secreto ibérico is out of this world. When I feel the pang for food like my grandma used to cook it, I head there to feel at home. Plus you get free olives with your beer, ALWAYS, no need to ask. Visit them, you will thank me!
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Our food came out at different times, the quality was poor, and the temperature inside was too cold. We have been loyal customers for over twenty years and have seen a decline in the overall experience. To make matters worse, we were also overcharged for items we did not order. It's a shame, but we won't be returning.
DON'T GO! The truth is not to come back, they open at 2 and the chef showed up at 3.45, so we didn't eat until very late. It is very noticeable that it is not the same people as before because basically the cachopo was bad and the homemade chicken croquettes were the worst. We went based on the ratings that were there but later we found out that these owners are new, nor is the menu on the website the one that corresponds to the place, they maintain the ratings of the old restaurant but they are not the same. Galician none south. Good luck for another time but come on, I do not recommend it because basically I will never return NO VAYAIS!! The truth not to come back, open at 2:00 and the chef meets at 3.45, so we don't eat until very late. It is very noticeable that it is not the same people before because basically the cachopo was bad and the home croquettes of 'pollo' of the worst. We went through the evaluations that were there, but then we found out that these owners are new, nor the web charter is the one that corresponds to the local, they keep the evaluations of the old restaurant but they are not the same. Gallegos, no insurance. Good luck for another occasion, but come on, I don't recommend it because I'm basically never coming back.
I came to London to taste some incredible Spanish cuisine. The restaurant is tucked away in Kensal Green. I absolutely adored the atmosphere, as it reminded me of Spain. The staff were delightful and the food was delicious!
I am Spanish and live in London. I always go to Centro Gallego to enjoy my favorite Spanish dishes, and this place never fails to make me feel like I am back in my country. I highly recommend the "croquetas de espinacas", "pulpo", and "secreto ibérico" if you enjoy meat - they are always my go-to choices. In my opinion, the prices could be more affordable. The restaurant's decoration is not very nice, and the location is not ideal as there is not much to do nearby and no tube station nearby. However, they sometimes offer live Spanish music which creates a really nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and lovely.
