We knew our orders for one entree and appetizer and took some time to contemplate for the other entree. Maybe we could have thought over this some more or maybe it was just a bad choice for that day! We called for their famous and most popular appetizer Bang Bang Shrimp and it was amazing. Slightly on the less sweeter side since my husband has recreated the recipe at home, but I definitely loved the savoriness and the crispness this place has to offer. Perfect amount of green onion garnish and the perfect crisp. Loved it. I called for the Mahi Mahi and shrimp and my husband asked for Fish (Cod) and Chips. The Mahi Mahi was tender however lacked the flavors I was anticipating. It was supposed to have a citrus marinade, but all I tasted was the charred wood fire grill with salt and pepper. The shrimp were decent sized and were cooked well. The side brussel sprouts were magnificent in Kung Pao Sauce however lacked macadamia nuts. Nonetheless it was very good tasting and we enjoyed it wholly including the garlic mashed potatoes. The Fish and Chips were the real disappointment. We were expecting succulent pieces of fish and a crispy coating on the outside. This one dripped of excessive oil and had no crunch whatsoever. The tartar sauce seemed packaged and not freshly made. Maybe we just didn't get the batch we were hopeful of. Nonetheless, we were very full by the time we were to wrap up and ended up packing the fish and chips along with the brussel sprouts with the hope we'd be able to air fry the fish and drain the excess oil. The service was prompt and friendly and we would definitely give this place another go with probably a lobster tail and the popular bang bang shrimp! Me encantó.
The food was absolutely great when I had dreams of eating this lobster again when I went to bed and woke up to get Hahahaha. The food came pretty fast, but one thing I have to consider. I know everyone is wounded today, but the service was pretty slow. My throat felt like the Sahara Desert, how long it took to give me a water. It probably shaved a good part of my vitality to get the check back when we had a movie to go after it, but fortunately we did it.
Working, but we had a reservation. We have bread to start with olive oil / pesto, really good. Then we ordered a starter from Bang Shrimp. Always heard from this court and that was the reason for the Bonefish Grill trip, it definitely lived until the hype. We ordered the Scallops and Shrimp Skewers with pages of Whipped Garlic Potatoes and Bacon Mac and Cheese. We also ordered the Bonefish Signature Pasta with Atlantic salmon. I really like the scallops, cooked for perfection. The garlic potatoes were really flattered and fluffy. I wasn't a fan of the Cajun sauce in the Pasta Tho. Total great food and service!
I ordered the bone in pork chops and my bf ordered Sirloin Steak and crabcake comb. My **** was perfectly cooked. But my bf?s steak was a bit dry and overcooked. Overall, it was a good meal. I ordered the fresh watermelon martini and that was delicious! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, but the hostess who welcomed us was not very friendly. She probably only had a bad day. Overall, it was a good experience.
Love this place, we don't live nearby, so this was only our third time. Bread and oil and pesto are so good. I had chickens, garlic potatoes and asparagus. Everything was so good. We usually don't get a desert, but the brownie with ice. Brownie was warm, covered with walnuts and a blueberry sauce. It was soooo good. I didn't get a picture of Brownie. Our server was very nice. We'll be back.
