Hutton Spice - Brentwood

I placed an online order through their website yesterday. The estimated delivery time was 50 to 60 minutes, but after waiting for an hour and 20 minutes, I called multiple times to inquire about my order with no response. I decided to go to the restaurant in person, only to find that both phone lines were busy. When I asked about my order, the staff checked their system and realized that they had not even begun preparing it. It seems that ever since winning the curry award, they have been overwhelmed and struggling to keep up with the demand.

Simply put, it was a horrible experience. The chicken was cold, tough, and inedible. It seemed like everything had been precooked in the morning and then quickly heated in a microwave, leaving it dry and shriveled. The naan was undercooked and still doughy, while the onion bhaji looked old and burnt. This has been consistent in the last few takeaways from here, and for £25, it was definitely not worth it. I will not be ordering from here again.

My husband ordered takeaway for me to pick up on my way home, he forgot to order the popadoms sauces but they added them anyway said we will sort it out next time, great food staff very polite very helpful, good value for money too, definitely be back soon

The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. We haven't had a meal this good in a long time! We will definitely be returning customers.

Take away, not visit. Never ceases to amaze me, the quality of the Prawn Bhoona, Brinjal Bhaji Aubergine, is amazing. Have eaten from here for years, and must say truly superb food.
