This is not the first time I've visited Trattoria Briscola, I have been visiting Brescia since I was 8 years old. Every time I have it's been simply sublime, exquisite traditional Brecian cooking, charming staff and very well priced. It's not easy to find, (guaranteeing the only other customers are locals). When you arrive the first impression your a million miles from anywhere, it sit in the hills overlooking Brescia surrounded by forests. The restaurant was founded just after the second world world war and the menu seems not to have changed, but is it good, I mean really good. Bring the whole family, plus your neighbours as it that kind of place. Great outside terrace as well as good dining room.

Spectacular view over the city from spacious outside terrace is the attraction of this place in good weather. Food OK, but nothing special. Service leaves a bit to be desired.
