Contribuer aux commentairesLocation We came to Bretten to the annual Peter and Paul Festival. The festival recalls the successful defense of the campers around 1504 and the craftsmen and trade unions. The mighty defense towers in the middle of the historic city view are still witnessing this time. At the Peter and Pauls Festival, the town of Bretten lives its history. The entire city centre turns into a huge medieval market. In the midst of this trip, the Swiss court also turns into the pedestrian zone. Ambiente Above the restaurant stands the former Zunftzeichen, the golden swan. Since the beer garden has already been visited very well in the pedestrian zone, we were looking for a place inside. Ten tables, not too close together, stood for choice. Dark chairs with brown leather cushion, bright bare wooden table tops and also the left desk, give the address a rustic charm and the right frame for social hours. Service The complete service was dressed with linen dresses after the Peter and Paul Festival. The orders were well picked up and fixed, the dishes applied and the empty plates were picked up again. There were no table divisions, everyone saw where something was missing. Unfortunately, today because of the festival there were not the usual 0.5 l stone crippled beer. Eating 6-8 daily meals were offered on ski resort boards. Then there was a DIN A4 card on each table. From this we chose the rob rates in dark beer sauce with semmelknödeln (12.80€). A mixed salad (4.30€ extra). The beer sauce was wonderful in taste. The meat super delicate, but the two semmelknödel unfortunately somewhat too hard in their consistency. The additional salad would have tolerated more dressing and was overpriced by 4.30€. The melted cornberry sour (maulssacks with Rosis potato salad (8,90€) were tastefully good to the potato salad made by Rosi with too much maggi. Conclusion Natural cuisine -Trubel -Jubel-Heiterkeit
