Boca Oyster Bar - Bridgeport

Let me preface this by saying I’ve been really excited about trying Boca. We had a reservation before a show. When we walked in, we were told it would be 20 minutes. Not good. The atmosphere and staff are very cold. The food was just not appealing at all. The chicken flatbread sounded delicious but was not good. The lobster pasta dish also failed. I went, saw, but is now removed from my list.

I’ve been here before and enjoyed it. Tried again 2 years later and it was not good at all. Clams had a foul smell, steak was not of good quality. Bernese sauce was more of a bland butter. All 4 people in our party agreed. It’s too bad because it really is a beautiful place.

Beautiful setting with water views, excellent service outstanding seafood!

Took ferry from long island to shop at bass pro and wanted to find a good dinner to have before heading back home. Used Google maps and found Boca Oyster Bar was right across the parking lot from bass pro and the pictures of the food and items on the menu looked and sounded great. The food and view of the harbour were both fantastic and service was very friendly, we are looking for an excuse to go back to Connecticut just to eat here again.
