Server was not friendly to the 6 of us. She kept leaning between us to serve my friend on other side of the table. Proper service is to serve her on her side of the table. We prefer good customer service and friendly service so not a place to go unless that isn't important to you.
Good food for alot of $Breakfast once or twice a year when you want to splurge.Very clean and cozy, excellent service.
Hash browns I ordered well done, they came out normally cooked, I asked for them well done, they barely cooked a new order just slightly more. Server seemed scared of the cook I suppose, which I know isn't entirely her fault. Decent omelette. Ketchup didn't arrive at the table until about 10min after asking.
There are likely better breakfast spots in town. If you’re looking for a typical breakfast diner this is it. All the food we ordered was fine, just lacked flavor. Even the coffee ? I couldn’t really tell if this is a part of the Breakfast Club franchise… if so, there is a lack of consistency in customer experience.
I'm ashamed to say we drove by this restaraunt for many years without taking much notice due to it's unassuming exterior. It was definitely our loss. We tried it for the first time and were truly impressed. The dining room is cozy and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Most importantly the food was excellent with unique takes on breakfast staples. Everytning had tons of flavor. A little more expensive than an average Coney Island breakfast. However, in my opinion, it is worth it to move up from those other mediocre offerings to the Breakfast Club's interesting and delicious fare.
