This place was recommended by a dear friend who has lived in Brighton for decades. Oh my, yes please. Ordered a selection of bog standard take away fare to test the water and can say whilst everything was very nice indeed, the tandoori oven items blew us away. These guys know their tandoor oven very well. Special mention must go the Bombay potato, keema naan, popadoms and chicken tikka; all of which can easily be disappointing, but not here. Decent sized portions for these penny pinching times, so not sure what some of the other reviews on TA are on about. Ring them directly to order and they deliver within a 3 miles radius.
Incredible food, decent portion sizes with authentic tastes and reasonably priced! Was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! As a brummy, I have a high standard for curries and am yet to find somewhere that reaches these until today!! Best curry in Brighton
Food reasonably tasty, a bit 'red ' a bit expensive. liked the egg in the biryani . But wouldn 't rave. i. But ok. Downs were rather a lot of potato in veg dishes and we got 4 plastic bags of a very small amount of onion in each. As we ordered 5 main dishes this was ridiculous. Why not put 5 portions in 1 bag??? Clearly are not considering plastic pollution!
I wrote a bad review last time because of one person there who was rude. Wish I hadnt written that review because i ahve been here many times since and it is consistently great food with good service. Lovely surroundings and tasty good quality Indian food.
Had a takeaway for 9 people last night. Everyone really enjoyed all the dishes. Had a range of veggie and meat dishes- all delicious. Looking forward to going again.
