The Country Corner Restaurant - Brigus

“The Quay” Place had been renamed and store portion is gone. Food is good but service doesn’t exist. If you have lots of time to sit around while people walk pst you then try it out. Our server finished work and sat with her family...at a table next to us. Didn’t tell us she was done just never checked on us after taking our order. The rest of the staff walks past you and doesn’t even ask if you need anything. My meal didn’t even come with the coleslaw you put for, was told it’s “complimentary” since they didn’t have it haha First time we went the place was packed and everything was amazing including the server. This time it was busy. Won’t return due to the experience. It’s a shame.

We visited this restaurant for lunch during a day trip to Brigus. The cleanliness was outstanding, with all staff wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitizer available. Tables were well spaced out and a server guided us to our table. The server, a friendly young woman, was very helpful with the menu. We ordered a hamburger and fries for my spouse and a turkey sandwich for myself. The food arrived quickly and both meals were delicious. I was pleased to see that the sandwich was made with homemade bread. My husband mentioned that both the fries and burger were handmade, so I had to try some fries, which were very tasty! Despite there being a steady stream of customers, our lunch was relaxed and the atmosphere was pleasant.

This little gem in Brigus is absolutely amazing! Every morsel was clearly hand made and it shows in the flavors and textures. If you haven't eaten here It's worth the trip to go there and make sure you save room for the blueberry crumble! OMG!!

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have never been disappointed. The cod chowder was delicious and the service was excellent.

After a beautiful walk, went by country corner for lunch. The staff was so very friendly and quality service. Very enjoyable day! Following week, went back there for dinner. Had the best strip lion steak and enjoyed during dinner listening to live entertainment! Will surly...visit this restaurant next season!
