It's a deceptively large venue, and we were lucky we got in before 6 as it would have been hard to get a seat. It's a great line up to the Given/Latrobe precinct, and if first weeks are anything to go by, they're onto a winner!
Went to this place for dinner , ironically they do not serve tea but rosè wine was nice . We had ordered the pork belly which was delicious ! Juicy and crunchy with the right balance of apple sauce , the blood sausage was a little average but still tasty , char grilled vegetables were a hit with me , but mostly I was impressed with the cauliflower half, it came with a white sauce and what tasted like pesto all over it . Also the desert was like a Creme brûlée pretty satisfying . The service was quick and our waiter was very friendly !
I am sorry to say, but I wasn't impressed. Huge plus for being open between Christmas and New Years But.
Cartel is my favourite place in the CBD to grab a takeaway coffee - it's consistently excellent.
I discovered Cartel Coffee by accident; it was 2.30pm on a Sunday after a night out.
