I can't categorize whether this restaurant is a Malaysian or Chinese restaurant. Perhaps a Chinese restaurant running in malaysia should be best suited because I had similar experiences in one of the Chinese restaurants when I traveled to penang where served some Malaysian dishes and dimm sims. We ordered the garnel with sambal sauce, laksa and a teller or roasted pork. Prawn court was definitiw weaker than that of mama malaya in terms of taste and portion. laksa had a lot of room to improve. the brittle wine was not bad. it was surprising to have crispy cracks that saved brands.Rating: rating: jan oct juli
Wen there for lunch. Staff walked past us for 10 mins despite the restaurant being half empty. Was approached and told me food would be min 30 mins Only go here if you are Asian. They won’t serve you and are racists
Their lunch specials portions have become slightly more hearty. Taste still good. However yum cha selections are now highly limited especially if you have a seafood allergy and also want no pork. The items also sell out very early in the day. They also no longer have complementary fresh chilli and other condiments. Very disappointing to discover the demise of another yumcha place despite adjustments to the regular lunch specials menu.
Popped in for a quick bite on the way to work. I ordered the $10.90 special. Paid via Eftpos was slugged with a surcharge. Food came out quickly. Was friendly service. Lots of rice veggies though. Hardly any meat. Not much sauce either. Disappointed. Especially when there are so many other Asian takeaways in the same complex.
The first time we went in for lunch since they change hand. I am quite impressed with their Yum-Cha and taste good. The service will need some improvement.
