Contribuer aux commentairesI was introduced to Mad Mex by a local while on a week course. The first day we went to the Food Hall in Queens Plaza she decided to have nachos as she said they have the best. I decided to have a burrito because I was able to choose the ingredients. The service was quick and the burrito was toasted, and tasted absolutely delicious. It seems to be quite popular as it was always busy but the wait time is minimal.
Cold food with no flavour, wont be returning as wasn't worth the money. Go to Guzman for a better feed.
We very much enjoy Mad Mex - try the bowls if you are not into enchiladas - filled with fresh ingredients and a generous handful of the beautifully spiced protein of choice. A filling yet healthy tasty meal at reasonable prices.
Staff were friendly & efficient. Food was simple (tacos) but tasty (hot spice is good & hot!) and included a gluten free meal. For $10 each this was excellent value for money. The eating area and tables were clean. We will gladly return & eat here again.
This is in the foodcourt of the basement of the Queens Plaza building in the Queen Street Mall. The food here is pretty good takeaway Tex Mex style - the Burrito I had was just as good as any at Guzman and Gomez. I still prefer another local chain for Tex Mex and there are better Mexican Restaurants (proper) in the city but as far as takeaway quality Mexican goes, this is as good as G&G.
