Food is fresh, portions are generous for being Japanese food and staff is friendly. They have air con too. Its important to indicate that the size of the rolls is big so careful with ordering a lot of dishes at once.
The food was good, not great but good, although a little expensive for what you got.The service could definitely do with improvement, not only did they give the wrong meals out to people, I hardly saw a smile from them. There was only one kind of red wine on the menu at $35 a bottle, so a good idea to go the bottle shop (nearby) and buy your own.
As with most of the places we have been to in Brisbane, this was pleasant. Nothing spectacular, slightly pricey, love the homey feel to the place.
After visiting Japan last year we wanted to find Japanese food that would take us there but without the flying. This food will blow your mind. Amazing, great customer service, fast to your table and well priced to feed the hungry husband and myself.I don't think I could go anywhere else for a lovely Japanese meal. Tick this off your bucket list.
Another outstanding night at Mizo with my family. This has got to be one of the most consistently great restaurants in New Farm. Also BYO which is an added bonus. Sashimi, beef and chicken teriyaki together with a salad with their renowned dressing. Feel very spoilt to have this restaurant so close. Cannot recommend it high enough for lunch or dinner.
