The Walnut Restaurant - Brisbane

I had dinner in the restaurant at 2 places and light meal in the bar on the 3rd evening. continental breakfast on 2 days. excellent food and service at any occasion. the crab pata court was fantastic and the cook was very committed to fulfill my request...for a slight change of the ingredients (no garlic).

I thought I would enjoy a desert in the restaurant that turns on for the night, what a catastrophe. the bombe aska was frozen, so hard I could not break it with a fork, and the merengue was more a gage paste than baked. terrible performance of. a bomb alaska and not worth the hefty 24 aud price tag.

Try to emulate an English country hotel, but not quite there. the service must dramatically improve to meet the level of aspiration of this restaurant, which is eating is in order, but still not where it should be to match the prices.

The staff was so helpful with our 21st dinner in the restaurant. the restaurant has an elegant look and feeling and the service and eating in the night was of a high standard.
