Greek food is something I don't often crave but when it hits the urge for salty, meaty, cucumber filled satisfaction grips me hard. Luckily I live
I have a confession to make - I don't know the difference between a gyros (or is it yiros?), a doner (or is it doner kebab?), a shawarma or a wrap.
I had the worst experience at the Yiros Shop South Bank k. I had tzatziki dropped on me and my online order took minutes. We arrived at the Yiros shop at on Saturday, February I saw an ad on the windows to skip the line and order ahead with our app I made my order on the app at My group of friends ordered around and their food arrived around As their food is being delivered to our table by the staff, the tzatziki dip came off the tray, landed on the floor and exploded upwards, putting tzatziki splatter on our clothes and bags. The staff apologised and gave us rags to clean ourselves. After at my phone gave me a push notification to say my food was ready. I ordered a chicken snack and a chicken salad. The snack pack was nice, but the chicken in the salad was cold. I will not be going back to the Yiros Shop South Bank. I can't wait minutes for an online order and I don't want to to put my bag through the wash again.
My lamb came out of a container kept hot in they're display, it wasn't shaved off the spit because it looked like it was boiled. No seasoning on meat whatsoever and tzatziki was just yoghurt with a hint of garlic and nothing else. Not worth the money whatsoever. I'd rather. The cbd one is much better and more flavoursome. Staff were nice though that's about it.
