Food great. atmosphere very cool as the restaurant is located in what used to be the stock exchange of bristol so basically you are having curry in an old bank. service is a little on the slow side.only big disappointment was that when we arrived they did not have a table booked under my name as they said they were no longer part of top table!!!! nevertheless they gave us their last table. lucky.
Dinner in the evening 11 guests in Old India. Easily lost with the TT app that shows the place as on Baldwin Street. Happy for us to change our time and for some other Stag parties too. We ordered the banquet meal that was £20pp and covered a wide range of foods A few Asian friends said it was good and similar to home boiled style that is a good sign. In the end we were stuffed and ready to go on to the rest of the evening.
Great in the old stock exchange. No nerve chairs and tables, long wait for food, but worth it.
Beautiful interior. was happy that they were able to preserve a lot of original features to the building. Service was friendly and efficient. Chicken corma cooked very well but butter chicken somewhat tasted very similar. all dishes came nice and warm but the hotplates that were accepted to keep the meal warm were not efficient and therefore the food did not taste so well, maybe they should look into the change of hot plates. Portions were good.
