Surprising place in that I just popped in for a quick bite and ended up having some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. The decor is great and the staff were all jokes... a five star experience all round.
Had a take-away late tonight (22:30 on a Friday) and it was really very good, collected it within 25 minutes. The Chicken Jalfrizi had lots of chunky chicken pieces, onions and chillis, sauce was very tasty and not greasy at all. There was a good balance between main ingredients and sauce (i.e. not swimming in sauce). Sag paneer was a great side dish and the onion salad came with that yellow yoghurt thing which I really liked. The whole thing was full of colour and tasted great. Paid £13.00 and fed two people perfectly. A welcome surprise, will definitely go there again. Staff were very polite and efficient.
The Maslee Maricha is my favourite curry in Bristol. A good fish curry is hard to find but they've nailed it. Love the traditional British Indian decor too.
Brilliant curry house. I have been eating here for 22 years and it is consistently the best. Bonkers decor. Friendly staff who will chat about everything and anything.
