Amber Steak House - Broad Channel

Came from Chicago to visit our daughter/husband and new grand baby and wanted a nice celebratory steak dinner ....Amber Steak House surpassed our expectations!! A truly fine and delicious dinner!

We went for my wife's birthday. It was amazing! The waiter was super professional and the service was amazing! The appetizers and steaks were some of the best I've ever had!!! I strongly recommend!!!

Actually one of the best meals I've ever had. The martinis were lovely to start. Oysters were super fresh. Arugula salad hit nicely before the Porterhouse for 2 which was well seasoned, decadent, properly served and perfectly cooked. The mac is THE side to get. We topped it with crème brûlée and Fernet Branca to finish and our server was helpful, friendly, funny and attentive. Will obviously be back.

If you have a very special occasion and want to get a dinner that is high quality and good for the money, this is the place!To me, it tops Peter Luger almost every single time. The steak is delicious of course, but the appetizers really steal the show for me.

Had a lovely birthday dinner. Choices are excellent, way more interesting than the typical steak house. Beet salad excellent. Duck leg is perfectly cooked and a great meal. Shrimp scampi was better than most. Nice wines by the glass. Desserts worth the calories.
