Love Luigi's! This food is so good! The best parts of the meal are the pesto dipping sauce and the warm, fluffy bread that come first. Just try not to eat only this, even though it's hard not to. I ate Eggplant pappardelle, which is a hardy and tasty pasta. Husband had surf and turf. He said the steak was cooked just right and that the sweet and sour sauce went well with it. The strawberry shortcake that has been frozen is just right. The people who work there are very warm and friendly.

Family restaurant with great family Italian vibe. Clearly passionate about the food with Southern Italian regulars and some more sophisticated Central Italian dishes. Can't wait to go back. Service was spectacular.

Luigi's experience was beyond any Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Every wait staff was attentive and served our large party with a smile. They were caring and accommodating with all our requests. The owner gave us food recommendations and we loved everything we ordered. For appetizers, I ordered the Colossal Meatball with whipped ricotta and it was cooked perfectly, wasn't dry and the sauce paired well with meat. Christmas eve dinner, very crowded, service took a bit longer than I thought it would. Could have used another server or two. Rustic atmosphere, great food, large portions, my first time there. I will go again

My New favorite Italian restaurant! Amazing food, great service, warm family atmosphere, excellent pizza, drinks and desserts. Walking distance from the LIJ hospital. This is a neighborhood gem. Our new home away from home during a long hospital stay.
