The Local Eatery Craft Beer

I'd rate The Local four and a half starsGreat beer shop with some American bar fare. They have five taps; all were local craft beers. They have a large beer fridge with tons of cans. I didn't go through the inventory thoroughly but it seemed like those also focused on local and regional crafts.I didn't try any food but it looked good. Looking forward to returning for some grub.

I used to order from here when it was called the Local Eatery often, as the chicken wings were a favorite. I decide to go with the crispy chicken and I was hardly impressed. It was huge and impossible to pick up and the bottom was soggy. The chicken was dry, with flavoring that wasn't quite there and the onion rings were just ok.

The place is small, but we I'll definitely go back. The wings are delicious (my favorite are the lemon pepper wings). We went with our two kids and we're able to enjoy the food and assortment of beers while we played some of the games they have available. It made me feel like less of a degenerate because we were able to have a fun family night. The service was also really great. Only downside for me as a mother, was the lack of changing table... the bathroom is tiny so I can see why they didn't have one.
