Northern Soul BBQ - Brockville

Such a disappointing meal. We ordered a Poutine , Italian poutine, sausage and burger. The poutine was a pulled pork poutine when it arrived. Not what was ordered. The Italian poutine was terrible canned sauce with meat added. A few scraggly curds atop undercooked fries. The burger was ok, hubby said sausage was ok. Smoked food was very limited on menu. No brisket or anything you would expect from a smoke/BBQ food joint. The staff seemed a bit unaware. The same woman who got the poutine wrong also didn't understand when we asked several times for the kiddie ice cream in a cup not cone. Even the ice cream was sadly disappointing. Sorry but won't be returning here.

When you need your Rib fix, it's nice to know that this place is around!! Although it's a bit removed from the main roads, it's well worth the detour!

Ordered Montreal smoked meat poutine, cheeseburger and half rack of ribs, all came with lots of fries. Poutine was excellent and the ribs were the best I've ever had. My son said the burger was a 10 - as good or better than our homemade ones. Fries were delicious as well. Coleslaw was sweet so couldn't eat it (miracle whip?)

We ate here twice in a weekend we enjoyed it so much!! Food was really good and TONS of selection! Plenty of seating and prices weren't bad...seemed to be the same as any chip truck. We tried a few of the different poutines and they were all yummy! Burgers were good as well. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the delicious full rack of ribs and homemade ice cream at this restaurant. We had a lovely evening overlooking fields and the owner was very friendly and hospitable. This place is a hidden gem.
