Taverna Greek Psistaria - BROMPTON

I have visited this restaurant a few times now and it is fantastic. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is great, and the owner and staff are very friendly. It has become my new favorite Greek restaurant!

I have been trying to convince my partner to visit this restaurant for months and we finally did. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! My partner was pleasantly surprised, considering our high expectations. The food was consistently delicious and cooked with love and respect for the ingredients. The octopus was tender and paired perfectly with pickled vegetables as a light starter. The stand-out dishes were the barramundi on cheesy risotto and the lamb shoulder. The barramundi was a beautiful big portion, tender and juicy with crispy, salty skin, paired perfectly with a creamy risotto. The lamb shoulder, cooked over charcoal, was still tender and juicy with rich, fatty flavors that paired perfectly with lemon potatoes. We also enjoyed coffee patron and traditional Greek coffee, as well as the impeccable service from father and son duo Stav and Jacob. We had a great dining experience and will definitely be back. I went to a Greek restaurant recently and was extremely impressed. The food was authentic and delicious, with large portion sizes. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and willing to help with any requests. Additionally, there were gluten-free options available on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Wow amazing Greek food with very generous servings. Best octopus I've ever eaten...though a little expensive. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Next time will listen to the waiter and order less and share platters. Ordered the Lamb shoulder with lemon and herb potatoes and couldn't finish it. Thank goodness we were able to take home our leftovers. Had to leave room for dessert. Just as good! Loved it. We'll be back!
