Contribuer aux commentairesFood was good as usual. The service provided was very disappointing. It took 25 mins after sitting at a request on my behalf to have waiter assigned to our table. I will blunt table to our right and in directly in front of us. Both sat after us and both got served and service throughout at a level you would expect as a service. As the host attempted to assign a waiter to our table. Wasn’t hard to read the lips of the waiter who was firm on not wanting to serve us even though we was assisting both tables around us….I had to get up and interrupt the waiter sitting on a stool on his phone for a additional drinks after waiting 20+ mins again. I am a Hispanic man and both tables around us were white families nothing against them. Just unfortunate to see how things played out.Use to be one of my favorite Brooklyn brunch places but won’t be visiting ever again. Do better!
I had the bobo de camarão and it was very good. However the music was so loud I couldn’t speak to my friend and also I expected more Brazilian music, they only played Spanish. Also they tried to charge me $6 for a side of rice after I finished the one that came with my dish. I think that was too much when the dish I ordered was already $30….
Drinks 6/10 ordered caipirinhas (plain, coconut, passionfruit) very small glass, drinks can lean too strong or too watered downFood 5/10 fries are good, rice and beans are dry, steak was over cooked and fat not renderedDessert 7/10: flan was good, a little too eggy for my tasteMusic: Alright, too loud for the number of patrons, I was yelling to talk to the person next to meService 3/10: Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu so asking for recs was difficult, rarely were attended after putting in our order she did not check in and it took about 30 min to get water refilled. One of my friends attempted to cancel her dessert but the waitress declined the request stating it was ready but it arrived 20 30 min later.Most importantly, the menu touts 20% add on gratuity for parties of 6 or more. However we were a party of four and it was included. When I inquired, there was some resistance on the servicing side and I was told they add it to all parties. Personally, I find this to be unethical business practice given their false advertising. It's giving very much bait and switch, I appreciate honesty and transparency when supporting a business. It was especially insulting given the poor service. Would not come again or recommend.
Hope you enjoyed the extra tips and money. Conveniently accidentally added a 20% tip charge onto the final bill which already had automatic 20% service charge to a large group bill. And we can 't refund you as already paid out to staff when questioned. Super expensive for okay food and drinks in the first place.
The place is hot as hell (summer), so pack and waitress pushes you all the time to be able to serve the tables, The manager is a drunk rude guy who can mistreat you without thinking twice if you don’t agree with him he doesn’t hesitate to ask u to leave the place (I have seen that couple of times) If you want to attend a place where you are going to receive good customer service that isn’t the place. Ps the bands that play and the bartender are very nice. Otherwise nothing positive. Hopefully the owners have maturity and understand how important is to listen a bad review and see what can be improved.
