Great ambience good, but not excellent, natural wine list.Have to knock it for the food. Obvious that the ingredients (vegetables, charcuterie, etc) aren’t especially well-sourced. Overall a bit bland and not balanced.$24 gets you 9 small slices of bologna with three crackers. I know it’s New York but come on.. there are better value dining experiences of a similar caliber.Would come back for a bottle to enjoy the beautiful space though!
Ver cute wine bar a side. Street. I’m fort Greene. Loved that this place is here where there aren’t any other restaurants on this street. Met a date here.
Very cute establishment with and incredible array of wines.Limited food menu, but great for wine pairing and snacking.Service started out well, but ended very disappointingly. Went inside to close my tab and the only person at the register at the time was pouring two glasses for a gentlemen and ringing him up. I was fine waiting. They proceeded to just have a leisurely conversation about traveling while I just stood there, unacknowledged, and obviously waiting to be helped for a solid 5 minutes. I eventually had to stop the woman who helped me initially to ring me up.When i was left waiting again without a receipt I finally had to interrupt their conversation to ask for a receipt since the other woman had walked away. Only for her to say “yeah sorry about that” and finally ringing the man up.I hate that I had to experience that. And I shouldn’t have had to.
Was eager to try this place but service has been very disappointing. Went inside to order and told the waiter I would sit outside. He shouted at me across the room to pay upfront before I could even open the door to go out. I then waited over 30 minutes for a simple order of bread. Other tables that arrived after me were served before me. The wine is good but there are other wine bars in the area with menus just as good with much better and kinder service.
