The Soul Spot - Brooklyn

This restaurant is without a doubt one of the top soul food destinations in New York City. The food is delicious and incredibly satisfying.

The Soul Spot is truly a soulful spot. The curry chicken and black eyed peas were incredibly flavorful and juicy. The fried catfish was some of the best I've ever had. The baked macaroni and cheese was delicious as well, and I loved the half and half. This was my first visit to New York and I definitely want to come back and dine here again. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10.

This restaurant has it all! I regret not trying it sooner. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The portions were large, leaving me with plenty of leftovers for dinner. The staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a great atmosphere. I will definitely be returning to sample more dishes!

Food was great definitely 10/10, also enjoyed the portion size. I give it 4 star regarding service because there was a girl who seem completely disinterested in taking my order and helping me. Others stepped in and took my order.

The food here is too greasy and the service depends whoever is working. Mostly I get to interact with worker who have attitude though. We are supposed to choose what we like to eat right? so why give me a stink eye if I do?
