I came at about 12:45 pm, so we were fortunate to have access to a full round of buffet table re-fills that occurred after the initial lunch rush. I will add that the Chinese food dishes on the buffet tasted the best I've had in Brooks, and the other SE asian dishes were also delicious and a great learning experience, as always. My fondest memory was a red curry pork dish that had me going back for seconds. Check it out! The restaurant is small and quaint, but food packs a punch as far as asian buffets go.
What a wonderful surprise! We stopped here on our way to visit family in Medicine Hat and were very impressed with the Tom Yum noodle soup. The homemade wontons in the wonton soup were delicious too. Next time we will try the curry for sure!
A group of us are travelling across southern Alberta and stopped in Brooks for lunch. Thanks to Urbanspoon (and iMaps Siri) we found this unassuming gem.<br/ <br/ We were welcomed by aromas of galangal, lemongrass and chilies and because we were in a hurry we chose to graze the buffet. The kitchen kept the food fresh and hot, and there was enough variety to keep things interesting.<br/ <br/ Of note: Thai hot and sour soup; sweet glazed pork tenderloin stir fry; pork in yellow curry; chicken with hot chilies and veg stir fry; and, very good special fried rice with sweet liver sausage and egg.<br/ <br/ The Laotian owner (Kam) is attentive and welcoming. We'll be back, and will order from the menu next time.<br/ <br/ Highly recommended.
Was here today for the first time, awesome food and guy was a great help with choosing a dish. Will for sure go back.
Best customer service in town by far. Family owned and run. Slightly over priced but best bang for your buck.
