Food is excellent. Unfortunately I was there for a Funeral tea. The food, quantity, service and room were suitable for the occasion. But £3.25 for a 330ml can of Coke!! Rooms: 5
This hotel is spread across multiple buildings and has been meticulously designed with attention to detail. There is ample free parking available. The rooms are spacious and have recently been painted. The bathrooms are in good condition but may need to be renovated in the future. While there may not be much around the hotel, it is likely the best option in Livingston. Room: 4, Service: 5, Location: 4.
This was the second time that we had stayed here. We enjoyed our stay on each occasion. Beautiful old buildings, possibly listed buildings, have been sympathetically adapted for hospitality, and it's wonderful that the houses have been preserved and maintained to good standard , Garden and surrounding grounds add to the ambiance of hotel . Staff were friendly and helpful as well as providing excellent service . Nothing was too much trouble for them . Rooms: Large bed room and shower suite, very comfortable bed and bedding . Coffee Nespresso machine in room , bottled Highland Spring Water supplied. Food drinks: Great food !
This hotel is a very convenient choice for those flying out of Edinburgh Airport in the morning. The hotel offers free parking. Our room, #71, was located in a back building and required navigating a number of steps to access. The room was spacious with a sofa, table, king-sized bed, and desk. The bathroom was modern, but there was some mold in the shower. The room key needed to be placed in a slot for electricity. Despite this, the room was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is recommended to book ahead as seating may be limited compared to the number of hotel rooms.
Staff were absolutely brilliant. But I was playing.
