Would not recommend their sushi. Ordered a sushi boat and it came with imitation crab sticks by their selves. The fish was cut very and thick and some of it was too tough and chewy to bite through. Didn’t taste fresh and was overpriced.
Often walk by on the way to the Gelato Fiasco. This trip we went to Little Tokyo for dinner on the way to the Gelato Fiasco. They served miso soup and a salad before our appitizers, and both were very good. We shared a yellow tail tuna maki roll and a temaki roll as appitizers. The temaki was good but very messy to eat, which detracted from the experience. For dinner, my wife got teriyaki salmon, and I got the teriyaki beef. Both came with a side of steamed brocoli and carrots and sticky white rice. Next time, we would like to be more adventurous and try some of the other types of sushi.
We had just a wonderful experience here tonight. The food was absolutely delicious, but what made the experience the most exceptional was the staff’s kindness. My 8 month old was fussier than usual (typically he is so happy to be out to eat and watch everything going on). We were working hard to keep him happy, but he did have a few moments where he wasn’t doing well. We apologized profusely, and the staff were incredibly kind. They completely understood, many came up to just say hello. My husband and I were incredibly grateful for the graciousness of the staff. We will be sure to be back!
Bugs in salad probably due to not cleaning lettuce good. Little Aphids were still alive in my salad. Sushi wasn’t too impressive either.
