We had lunch there. The service was quite efficient. We were seated quickly, not much space between customers) but big enough. They took our order after a while. In any Belgian establishment don't expect very quick polite service, they're friendly and efficient enough. They make up for it in the food. The food portions were very generous and very tasty and the beer is really good. We'd go again. The food is worth the visit and the price is reasonable.
This place is such a gem! It looks a bit worn from the outside but the fries are gorgeous. I could go on for ages about how they tasted and the absolute intricacy of the seasoning but just come here for yourself. A massive cornet plus sauce is under €6. I love this place :
Service is good. Fries are bad for the arteries but good for the soul 11/10! Fondue is not bad as well
I saw some people say this was the best place for fries in town. It wasn't as good as Maison Antoine in my experience and was fairly run of the mill. That said it's in a good location if you're out boozing and the array of sauces features some great homemade ones.
