The restaurant itself is nothing like it shows on trip advisor. This place is not on a beach and more like a social club setting
Wonderful food in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Daniella, front of house was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel at home. Ribs and prawns main course superb! We loved it so much we booked again before leaving!
If you’re going on Sundays, be prepared for “Sunday School” in the evenings it gets pretty noisy with DJ and live music. There isn’t any wheelchair access. The staff is really polite, the food is FANTASTIC, and please try the Makara Specialty Drinks. Major compliments to the Chef for a fantastic presentation of food and excellent flavour profile. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return.
It was Monday night and the three of us were the only guests. The shrimp and fish were good but my Lamb was too well done. Service was generally good. Passion fruit dessert was fantastic.
Lovely meal and the only thing spoiling it was that we were the only diners! We were made to feel very welcome and met with the chef and the owner which was a nice touch!
