I think it is one of best Arabic restaurants ( Lebanese cousin ) in Buenos Aires. They have a wide range of dishes to pick from and it is very fresh. The service and atmosphere are also very good. Price wise it is reasonable and worth the money.
Excellent food, correct prices, good attention. The ambient is not very good, but is comfortable. It is a very good options to go with family or friends.
This unassuming 70's style restaurant produces consistently delicious and plentiful Lebanese meals. Probably the best way of tasting the extensive array of entree and main course options is going as a group and sharing. Be warned: small entree dishes are very generous. The Shawarma al plato is excellent! Wine mark-up is somewhat dearer than elsewhere.
We dined here last night(Friday April 24,2015) and never would have found this restaurant if it weren't for our local friends who live nearby. The restaurant opened at 8 and we there at that time.....by 9 PM all the tables in both rooms were occupied. When we left.....after 10:30 PM, there were people waiting for a table. All locals.....no tourists. The hummus was EXCEPTIONAL. We have been doing hummus take out at El Armenio close to our ap't , even though it is underwhelming. Our liter of beer came in an ICED bucket. Have never seen that before but what a great idea. L ordered falafel and it looked yummy...........have no idea what Fernando ordered......and DH and I ordered shawarma. We had NO idea one portion really would have sufficed for the two of us. But guess what? The leftover will be DIVINE today. The shawarma was absolutely delicious. We didn't have cafe or dessert but almost 3 hours later we left......primarily because we felt guilty that there were diners waiting. The service was good.................the noise level was not low, but we WERE able to hear one another and the ambience was delightful, including cloth napkins. Prices were very reasonable. We wish we had more time in BA to come back......guess it will have to wait for our next trip.Trust me......Sarkis may have the ratings(we've been there) but Cheff Iusef is THE place to go.
