I visited on a Saturday night around 11pm, and even though the kitchen was still open, there was an event happening with a $5 cover charge at the door. My group of 3 only wanted food, but we were still asked to pay the cover fee. We decided to leave and order takeout instead. Despite the initial hiccup, the food was fantastic! We ordered a Big Daddy Cuban, 2 Mama Bombs, 20 Sophia Loren Wings, and Deep Fried Fire Pickles, all recommended by a friend. The Cuban sandwich was delicious with the addition of spam. The Sophia Loren Wings were crispy, crunchy, garlicky, and had just the right amount of heat. The Deep Fried Fire Pickles were tasty with a perfect dipping sauce. The Mama Bombs were flavorful, though we were missing the red sauce that should have come with them. Overall, the food was amazing and I can't wait to go back. The lady who initially charged us the cover fee apologized when we picked up our food, showing genuine remorse for the misunderstanding.
Coolest hangout with chill staff and they make their own hot sauces. The vegetarian burrito has flavorful greens and lots of cheese and remains a delicious relic in my mind several days later.
We go for the Dark Wave video dance nights once a month, and have a good time. We'd have a better time if they offered more than a single bottle of Gin, which is not to our liking.
Great Monday night karaoke. Fun, friendly, welcoming place.
I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is wonderful! I had a great time performing with my band here and can't wait to come back again.
