How good that we came in the afternoon at the Borgo Antico on a tour through the castle. On the new covered terrace there was a sign referring to gluten-free pasta. What a happiness for me! We reserve a 4 person table for the evening. (Visit at home). The Borgo Antico also has a hotel where we stayed in 2015. I'm 100% sure you don't have gluten-free noodles yet. I am so glad that we are now dealing with food intolerances. The menu is exemplary! All dishes are characterized: A gluten-containing grain 1 with dye(s) B crustaceans 2 coffe-containing C eggs 3 with sweeteners D fish 4 keeps phenylaling source E peanuts 5 with preservatives G I milk products 8 with antioxidant N sulfur dioxide sulfite P molluscs I order a semi-dry Valpolicella and no appetizers, the other Montepulciano As the main dish I chose gluten-free penne noodles Warm served, beautifully dressed and really deliciously prepared! Va bene! As I like to eat sharply, I read a pepper mill. The other main dishes were La Carbonara Italiana, (spaghetti with fresh bacon and egg in cream sauce), Nerano Dolce (short noodles with fresh bacon (about 150 g) and fresh zucchini in a special delicious cream sauce, rounded with parmesan flakes and pepper from the mill, as well as a pizza piccante (with salami, ham, fresh). The covered terrace is windproof and has radiators for cooler evenings. Delicious! Friendly, attentive staff and “dressed” by the Greeks, there was a free snack after the meal. We chose Grappa, Ramazzotti and Sambuca. Very attentive! My recommendation!
