This disappointing experience was not a one-time occurrence and I have had several bad visits at this restaurant. It is disappointing because my home is only 2 minutes away. The restaurant should take more pride in the quality of their food.
I previously had a review here that needed some adjustments. Initially, the staff were cheerful and attentive. However, their service has now become lackluster and disconnected from the customers. They seem to act as if serving, answering the phone, or fixing mistakes is a burden. I hope the owner or manager sees this review and addresses the issue, particularly with the older lady who appears to be in a management position. In my opinion, her attitude may be influencing the rest of the staff to adopt a careless approach.
I attempted to dine in at this restaurant for dinner around 7PM on a Saturday night, but found the doors locked. Instead, I ordered through the drive-thru and tried the spicy chicken Mac and Cheese bowl. I found it to be overly greasy and extremely spicy. Despite being a fan of hot food, I would not order it again.
I don't particularly like how their chicken is cut. Of course, every portion size is decreased and seemingly you're charged more. I used to enjoy the Colonel's chicken. But now, it leaves me wondering if it'll get any better.
Not that I had high expectations to begin with but what a disappointment. Pulled up to a sign saying dining room closed and proceeded to drive thru just to be told half the menu was not available at this time (drinks included). I dont what was worse the food or the attitude we recieved from the attendant. If you 're in looking for chicken go across the street to Bojangles.
