Table 34 - Burlington

In May I decided to have a last minute party to celebrate a milestone in my family's life. I called Table 34 and Natasha was immediately available to talk to me and work through all the planning and fine details for the party. She was extremely helpful in her suggestions and always very professional. We rented the entire restaurant for the evening and, even though Natasha was not able to be there, she left detailed instructions with a very competent staff. The staff members executed our plans to perfection! The food was wonderful...hot and fresh and very timely. The bar tenders never made anyone wait and served us with smiles all night long. It was definitely a night to remember and this is largely due to Natasha and the amazing staff at Table 34! I wouldn't hesitate to hold a function there again!

I went there three times. Twice I left with a sense of money well spent on a fine dinner. But the third time the dish, a salad, was not nearly as subtle. I asked if the Serbian chef was still there I was told that he had left two weeks prior. Sad news, because it clearly showed. Once again, it demonstrates if need be that a restaurant is not just a décor, a kitchen and recipes, Before anything else, it is the expression of people working there.

We popped in for a quick snack. The service was friendly and we were on the patio which was sheltered and comfortable. The 1/2 price apps are a good value, however I didn't find that they were tasty enough to really want to return another time. The falafel was dry and chalky. The house made tortilla chips were a bit stale and "bendy". The Caesar salad was bone dry in huge pieces aside from the top layer. Lovely lake view if you want a drink, but I'm hesitant to recommend the food choices.

I was disappointed that the same personable and awesome servers as last year are no longer there. They helped to create the atmosphere. The menu has changed also and fewer choices now. Food is still great though.

Had a great time with friends here recently. This place is a gem amongst the classic Burlington prehistoric "go-tos". It's casual, trendy and cool atmosphere is paired with great service, delicious food options and great location. Great for intimate parties or a night of apps and drinks with loved ones by the lake.
