Some of us came here for the first time on the basis of the positive reviews. The Korean foods that were with me felt that food was above average to a great value. We ordered the following with ratings of 5 stars (1 stars are...the worse to 5 stars are the best) Gom Tang (slow shimmered beef and bone marrow broth with noodles and brisket) – 3.5 stars – simply enough taste at 13.95 Hot Stone Pot Galbi Bibimbap with 3 secondary dishes (sorted veggies with first-class beef ribs in a stone pot) – 4 stars – easy cooked beef The best part was the crispy, crispy rice, which stands on the bottom of the stone pot. Tasting at 19.95 Black Bean Noodle (e.g. pork belt in black bean sauce) – 3 stars – small pig pieces. Not at 11.95. Original KFC (aka Korean Fried Chicken) Deep roasted chicken in Korean style sweet chilli sauce) – 5 stars – large pieces of chicken that cooked tasty and perfection. Sauce wasn't too hot. Good value at 28.95. For the regular dishes and certain dishes you will receive small secondary dishes that would accompany your Bibimbap or Gom Tang. No one was in the mood to try Korean BBQ mainly because of the price. Not all the dishes immediately arrived, which was too bad. You can make reservations. There are limited parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but many street parking spaces on Imperial. They are open 11 am to 11 pm. The place seemed to be the favorite place. Overall rating of 3.5 stars.
I lost my reservation. Was not ready to put our group and said it would be a significant wait as it fully booked super unimpressed.
We thought here was a quick lunch, but I think you need to go to Korean BBQ or Hotpot to fully understand the potential of this establishment. The premises are quite spacious, and if you have a larger company, there are half-private parts of the restaurant where you...seats, which are something like half-way cross-leg traditional Korean seat, but not completely, looks very comfortable. Pretty standard banana, but it definitely worked as an appetizer. What really came out for me is that the Dolsot Bibimbap is very strong on meat, not like many other Korean places in the city. Meat tastes through many ingredients that have a strong and pleasant mix with rice and vegetables. It turns out that they serve not only Yukhwae, which is already very rare for local Korean restaurants, but also Yukhwae Bibimbap! I'll try for sure next time. I can't say that everything we tried here has blown my head, but I feel that this place can offer much more when you explore its menu.
We went there quite a few times, so we tried all kinds of stuff from their menu. Quite the variety of both traditional Korean and what koreans call Chinese food (Jajangmyeon and such . Lots of side dishes, 6 to be more precise, but refill for...free is only once. Everything we tried was really good, the place is clean, good location, no complaints. They have a gorgeous waitress too, on Sundays at least :
