We got Chicken tenders, Fish and chips and chicken schnizel.Chicken tender was salty, thick batter that was not so good. Got the little version $7Chicken schnizel was one of the worst ones ive had. Sauce was disgusting, but veggies were good.Fish and Chips were actually really good. Fresh, good tasting batter with a nice crunch. Got the little version $11Would I come here again? No.
Well today at 3:45 May, 30th 2023 the host at the Acorn was a bit rude. The gentleman had me change my order over a .60 cent discount. Instead they received a $2.16 plus extra. Black tear discount and $25 Comp would have covered my meal that would have came to $23.89. After the rude gentleman made me change my order to less food and removed my discount the total was only $22. Once I got home my meal was even less than the less order with only one in a half chicken tenders and hardly no lettuce with my cobb salad. So 3 star's.
After checking out the awesome spillway at the Oroville Dam, we tried this cafe. I had the Reuben sandwich and my wife had the jalapeño burger. They were delicious with fries. The staff was great. The place was clean and spacious.
Food is mediocre at best. Service is just ok...the server was a bit overwhelmed given the size of our party.
Decided to give this place a try when we stopped by Oroville for a show. We were very pleasantly surprised! My SO got the rib eye steak and he said it was great for it only costing $25, it was seasoned well. I only got the little pot roast for $11, but it definitely wasn't little. It was a full meal for me. The pot roast was good and well worth the price. We didn't think that the service was slow once we were seated. The cost for drinks was also amazing. Acorn cafe is worth a try!
